Dear Honda Malaysia Customer Service, I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding an incident that... occurred after servicing my vehicle at your authorized center, Honda Formula Venture in Butterworth. First, I want to commend your staff, Jay, for his professionalism and prompt follow-up. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of how the incident was handled by his superior. I brought my car in for servicing at 3:00 PM and was told it included complimentary tyre balancing and alignment. While I usually rely on specialized tyre shops, I trusted the 4S center’s standards. The next day, while driving with my family, I began hearing loud noises. I later discovered at a tyre shop that three out of four rear right wheel nuts were missing and the wheel was about to fall off. The mechanic confirmed it was due to improper tightening. I replaced all lock nuts immediately. Jay responded quickly and escalated the matter, but I was extremely disappointed by the manager's reaction. Without proper investigation, he dismissed it as an attempted theft, claiming, "If it was loose, it would’ve come off earlier.” I reviewed my home CCTV and found no suspicious activity and I was with the car the entire time making this explanation implausible. They later reviewed their CCTV, which showed the technician using only a pneumatic impact gun without a torque wrench. He was also interrupted mid-task while tightening the affected wheel. This lack of proper safety procedure at a 4S center is unacceptable. This was a life-threatening incident. Had it happened on the highway, the consequences could have been fatal. What’s most upsetting is the dismissive and defensive handling by the service center. I am requesting the following: 1. A formal investigation into the incident. 2. An explanation of your SOP for tyre tightening and whether a torque wrench was used. 3. A formal apology for the mishandling of this safety issue. 4. A reasonable resolution or compensation given the risk involved. This matter concerns customer safety and must be treated with urgency. I am ready to provide all supporting evidence upon request. Their technician are not competent and problem still persist after sending the my new car a few times for the same problem. I bought my Honda city hybrid here.I went for 1k service, reasonable time to service . Last Friday went to service for... 10k km service, appointment at 10.30am, reach there at 10.30am, waited for 2.5 hours my car still unattended. I got so pist of I started to complain to the receptionist, the receptionist got the guts to tell me to talk to the service technician to attend my car. I told her it's not my job to do this it's their job to arrange the schedule.Why must we do their job. They keep telling a lot of cars, so why fix the appointment???. They should attend the car with appointments not walk in customer cut the queue and limit the car for service. I got so mad that I ask them to return my car key and walk off. I notice 1 thing here for the last 2 years this service center hasn't improved their customer service as I saw the last 2 years the similar complaint had been made. People reading this review, go to a better place. Go to Honda motoria, my colleagues are going there, they attend only cars with appointments, better than this service center.read more

2015 April to 2023 honda accord 29000 km service at here. Why still bring to here? The quality workmanship and... authentic honda spare part with experienced service team. I've been taking my vehicles to Formula Venture for a number of years and have always had a good experience. Customer service is excellent, also service manager Mr Tommy with good experienced and they live by the golden rule. Can't recommend them enough!read more

Service getting worst and worst. Waited for 3 hours ask for couple of times say service done, now they are washing car.... After 30 minutes waiting, ask again still not yet done?!! Billing charged with interior cleaning but already 2 times giving them chances to do service with them but they never even clean or vacuum at all (btw interior cleaning almost cost Rm 50) Everything very slow and most important is syilling and money in car all have been taken.read more

Slow service. Whats the point of Honda make us easier to book appointment online when this centre cannot even make it... on time. Took my car for 10K service but hve to wait for 5 hours (10am-4pm on 28/7/23) Atleast you should have call and inform customer that it will be late, but they dont even do that. Just waiting there and dont even care to update your customer what happened to their car. Complained to the person in counter; he said this happened a lot of time already and seems not even single action taken. Can read other reviews here most are the same. Please take actions.read more

Filed a complaint but gave thousands of excuses to push the responsibility away. This service centre have ethical and integrity issues. Trust me, don't ever send your car there.
